All Granadas Together 2008
It was a little wet this year! A big thanks must go to all of those who braved the elements and congratulations to all the trophy winners.
Here was the scene early on Saturday afternoon:
And it just kept raining and raining. On Saturday night we were informed that the Ford Sierra boys and girls had been evacuated due to flooding and that the site was on 15 minutes notice for a full flood evacuation.
When we retired on Saturday night there didn't seem to be much prospect of holding any kind of show. Sunday morning showed the full extent of the rain on the show "lake":
But as you can see in the picture Granada and Scorpio owners had started to arrive and line up on the roads alongside the show area. This picture nicely sums up the spirit of the day:
